Portrait Mode "Putting the man behind the camera in front"  For this portrait, the angle of his arm to the camera and the logo on his polo was really important to me

Turned the photo black and white on photoshop. Used the history tool to bring back the color of my friends backpack to make it stand out from the rest of the scene. 

This photo was inspired by Twilight and Snow White.  The Twilight book cover and Snow White story with the apple. I lowered the exposure to make it dark and then moved the position of the apple near the light to give it a halo/ spot light effect. 

Edited to get the afternoon vibe and bring out the orange tone from orange filter
